What we store
Nothing on our side. Saved events, articles, checklist ticks and your theme live in your own browser (local storage) and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address and the preferences you tick go to Kit, which sends our emails. Kit stores them until you unsubscribe, which every email lets you do in one tap. Kit's own privacy policy applies. We never sell or share the list.
Maps
The Places map and the map on What's on come from Google Maps. They load only after you tap "Show the map"; from then on Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Your choice is kept in your browser and you can undo it by clearing site data. The festival maps use OpenStreetMap tiles, which send your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation when they load.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use visitor analytics.

Links to other sites open in a new tab. Those sites have their own rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (AVG) you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object. Email contact@gonewithus.nl. The only data we could hold is your newsletter subscription. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
